Ascension & Pentecost

In this prayer and worship service we celebrate that Jesus is King!  The crucifixion echos the kingship of Jesus; forever transforming the cross as a symbol of torture into one of His glory. By focusing on the Ascension and Pentecost, we discover Jesus' promises and commands for all who follow Him.

Intentional Mother

In this message we discover what it means to intentionally parent; to sow seeds that allow our kids to flourish. Parenting can be challenging and rewarding. We prepare our kids for life by how we love, listen, and care for them. Together we'll learn the importance of sowing seeds of faith, service, and a seriousness in following Jesus. And if these seeds don't take root right away, stay the course. Never stop planting seeds of God's love, praying, and persevering. 

Bible Series- Isaiah

In this episode, we continue in our Bible Series Plan with the study of Isaiah. Isaiah is full of truths for God’s people. Isaiah shares warnings to the Southern Tribes and Kings, pleas for repentance, and offers hope for the exiles. Isaiah calls out sin in politics, social injustice, corruption, and idolatry and says that there is still time to turn back to God. Isaiah shows the judgement and consequences for going astray. God’s judgment is short term and leads to a long-term restoration plan. This plan is fulfilled in God’s Servant who comes offering hope.  Spoiler alert- our hope is in Jesus!

 

Bible Series- Psalms

In this message we learn that to understand Psalms, we need to dig into poetry. God speaks in poetry to His people because it has the power to capture our hearts and excite our minds. In the prayers of Psalms we find prayers for every human condition along with the answer of hope. You too can find hope in the psalms. Today we know that the name of this hope is Jesus. 

1 & 2 Samuel

In these books we dig into the political struggles of God's people, what makes a good king, and the anointment of David: chosen by God because of his heart. David's story includes unexpected blessing, deceit, waiting, trust in God, sin and forgiveness. The story of David is a fulfillment of God's promise to His people which ultimately point to Jesus.

Pray for Our City

We have a God who understands our grief and offers hope. In light of recent events, we worship with intentional prayer and action. This is who we are as a church. It is what we do. Jesus is why.

Easter 2023

He is risen. He is risen, indeed. This Easter, we discuss the Resurrection and how to accept the gospel both historically and personally.

Palm Sunday | Celebration Weekend

As we look toward Easter Sunday, we paused on Palm Sunday to praise God for all that He has done, all that He is doing, and all that He will continue to do. We celebrated how much God is moving in our church, in Love the ‘Ville Outreach and in our Deaf and Indian Ministries!
