Life is full of firsts. Naturally, parenting is too. From your baby's first steps across the living room to their first steps out into the world as an adult, your children will experience many things for the very first time.

As a parent, you have a role in how these "firsts" contribute to the formation of your child. The experiences they have are largely out of your control, but you can help form them as they slowly become adults who experience life for themselves.
